Lemon Italian Ice

A delightful, lemon frozen treat.

Ingredients
- 4 cups water
 - 1 cup sugar
 - 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest
 - 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
 
Directions
- bring water to a boil in a saucepan
 - add sugar to dissolve, then allow to cool
 - stir in lemon juice and zest
 - chill mixture
 - make in an ice cream maker (way easier than traditional method)
